Terms of use
These terms cover ketelos.com, the portal at app.ketelos.com and the launch list. The software itself carries its own terms, which say the same things in more detail. Both will be reviewed by counsel before Ketelos is offered to customers.
Who we are
Ketelos Trading is a product of Kerythos AI, established in Brazil. By using this website or the portal you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
What Ketelos is, and what it is not
Ketelos is software that you install and operate on your own computer, to trade your own account at a broker of your choice, under rules and limits you set.
Ketelos is not a broker, does not hold money or assets, and does not manage money on your behalf. Kerythos AI does not take custody of your assets and cannot place orders in your account. Your broker holds your funds, under its own agreement with you.
The current stage
Ketelos is in supervised testing with real accounts and is not yet offered for sale. Joining the launch list gives you a message when it opens; it is not a purchase, a reservation or a promise that the product will be offered to you, and it creates no obligation for you.
Not investment advice
Nothing on this website, in the portal or in the software is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Kerythos AI is not a licensed investment advisor and does not give personalized financial advice. The risk profile questionnaire sets the software's own safety limits; it is not a financial suitability assessment and does not replace advice from a qualified professional.
Risk, stated plainly
- Trading can lose money, and leveraged products can lose it quickly. You can lose some or all of the money in your trading account.
- No strategy works all the time. A rule that did well in the past, in simulation or with real money, can stop working.
- Prices can jump past a stop, and orders can fill at a worse price than expected, especially when markets are fast or closed.
- Ketelos depends on your computer, your internet connection, your broker's terminal and your broker. If any of them fails, trading can stop or behave differently.
- Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
What is yours to handle
- Keeping the computer that runs Ketelos on, connected and up to date.
- Having a trading account in your own name and following your broker's terms.
- Choosing your settings, including your risk profile, and checking them.
- Keeping access to your Ketelos account safe, including the authenticator you use as a second factor.
- Telling us at privacy@ketelos.com or through the portal if anything about your account looks wrong.
Using the website and the portal
Use them lawfully and for their purpose. Do not try to break into them, overload them, read data that is not yours, or pretend to be someone else. Good faith security research is welcome: tell us first, as ketelos.com/.well-known/security.txt explains, and give us time to fix what you find.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the website and the portal available, but we do not promise they will be available at all times. Ketelos itself keeps trading on your computer when they are not, because nothing in it depends on them. We may change, suspend or stop the website, the portal or the launch list; if a change affects your account, we will tell you in advance when we can.
Intellectual property
The Ketelos name, mark, software, website and texts belong to Kerythos AI. These terms do not give you any right to use them beyond using the website and the portal as intended.
Warranty and liability
The website and the portal are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Kerythos AI is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damage arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits any right that consumer protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Who may use them
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract where you live. Do not use Ketelos where trading or using such software is not allowed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to any right the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
